I am a native of Central Kentucky, born in Georgetown and then moved to Lexington when I was 6 months old. After graduating from Lafayette High School in 1974, I went into the printing business for 20 years. After leaving the printing industry I became a licensed Realtor in May of 1994. Since becoming a Realtor my goal has been to help each of my clients and customers to achieve their goals in buying, selling and investing in real estate.
Throughout my career in real estate I have committed myself to stay up to date on the latest laws, technology and trends by attending several seminars and continuing education classes a year. I also have earned several professional designations during my career. These designations have helped me to maximize my knowledge to serve my clients in the highest professional manner.
I have been active in our local Realtor association by serving on numerous committees as a member and chairman and served three years on the board of directors. By serving on the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors, I have gained knowledge that I would have never received if I had not gotten involved and donated my time.
I also have been involved with The Realtor Community Housing Foundation by volunteering for the Repair Affair program. This is a an annual event that assists elderly homeowners with necessary exterior repairs including, but not limited to roof repairs, siding, painting, and window glazing at not cost to the senior citizens.
Since joining RE/MAX Creative I have been involved in an annual charity event called "The Art Of Making Miracles". This annual event helps raise money for the The Makenna Foundation. Donations raised are donated to The Kentucky Children's Hospital.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my two step daughters and my god daughter. I also enjoy working on my home, watching movies, reading and walking my dog Rocky.
